No one should be above the criminal law.

Our work began in 2016 with our ongoing campaign to criminalise lying in politics. We are currently campaigning to amend the Public Office (Accountability) Bill so that it achieves that legal change for the first time in modern democratic history.

We are building a crowdfunded institution that investigates, exposes, and privately prosecutes the most powerful and abusive public and private sector executives in the United Kingdom.

In the news.

Our work has been reported around the world. We keep as complete a record of that coverage as we can — supportive and critical alike — and every story below links to the original. Inclusion here is a matter of record, not a measure of a source's accuracy or reliability. Some of this reporting is incomplete or inaccurate; our forthcoming documentary will set out the full account, drawing on stories and investigations we have kept confidential for years.
